“Laurel is a gift to parents and an advocate for children. First I’d love to share more about what she does based on my experience working with her. As a RIE Parent Educator, Laurel listens and asks deeper questions to understand what is happening with the child so she can guide the parent to consider WHY it might be happening. She is brilliant at helping parents/caregivers uncover the root cause of their child’s behavior because she understands child development, and views each situation from the child’s perspective. She then provides strategies and scripts from RIE and so many other amazing resources that parents can easily and confidently put into action.
